After a year of recovering, I started my media business and have continued to help my clients tell their story.

This is why it is my mission to empower other people to be themselves and to empower them to be confident in who they are because I believe that the lord accepts them the way they are. I want to influence others to tell their stories whether verbally or with the help of my creative mind through my lens.

I felt like the Holy Spirit was telling me that because I survived a suicide attempt that was near fatal, and that I was recovering, that I was worthy and valuable in God’s eyes to have been given a second chance. This is why in my brand, I incorporated the rising sun to represent that the Lord gives us a new day each and every sunrise to try again at things we want to accomplish and overcome. “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning”

~ Psalm 30:5

I had the vision to start this business when I got into a near fatal car accident that was a result from a suicide attempt. When I was healing in the ICU and dealing with severe depression and physical health, I just kept hearing God tell me that joy comes in the morning, and the sun will rise tomorrow, and it will be a new day to try again.

I started my journey when I got my first camera at 11 years old and followed in my father’s footsteps for a love of photography. I was constantly denied by the yearbook team throughout middle school and high school. When I turned 18 years of age, I perfected my craft and started my own media business and named it “Lauren Tenny Media”
